Tear Drop Butterfly Retreat

Our Butterfly Retreat offers a safe space for many beneficial insects, including butterflies, moths, ladybirds, and lacewings, to live in your garden. The teardrop design allows flying insects to hide from predators, rest, and even hibernate. Laser cut from plywood, hand painted, and assembled, the Butterfly Retreat will look great in the garden and provide much-needed shelter to many beneficial pollinating insects.

Site the Butterfly Barn one to two metres above ground in a dry sheltered spot that gets morning sunshine. Ideally close to a variety of nectar rich flowers.
